Abstract
Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk akan mempengaruhi perkembangan konstruksi kota Balikpapan. Bertambahnya infrastruktur mengakibatkan cadangan sumber daya alam akan berkurang dan jumlah limbah hasil konstruksi akan meningkat sehingga beban lingkungan pun akan semakin besar. Sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mewujudkan konsep keberlanjutan dalam industri konstruksi yaitu dengan penerapan Circular Economy, pengoptimalan sirkulasi dari sebuah produk, sebelum nilai dari sebuah produk berakhir. Agar konsep ini dapat diimplementasikan, kriteria Circular Economy perlu diseminasikan kepada pemangku kepentingan, salah satunya adalah kontraktor. Kesadaran atau pemahaman para pihak perlu diketahui untuk melihat sejauh mana kesiapan daerah dalam menindaklanjuti konsep Circular Economy dalam industri konstruksi. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengukuran tingkat kesadaran dalam kuesioner menggunakan skala likert. Dari hasil survey pendahuluan dengan para ahli/praktisi didapatkan 16 indikator yang dapat mempengaruhi kesadaran pemangku kepentingan terhadap circular economy yaitu A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, B1, B2 , B3, C1, D1, D2, D3, E1 dan E2. Selanjutnya dilakukan survey kuisioner utama dengan menggunakan indikator tersebut dan didapatkan tingkat kesadaran pemangku kepentingan yaitu sangat tinggi sebesar 88.9%. Serta dilakukan analisis faktor dominan untuk mendapatkan hambatan dan solusi apa saja yang paling berpengaruh. Hambatan yang paling dominan sebesar 92.8% ialah terbatasnya waktu yang disediakan untuk mendesain/merancang. Solusi yang paling dominan sebesar I1 sebesar 92.3%, yaitu melakukan sebuah kampanye atau insentif peningkatan kesadaran terkait circular economy.
