Abstract
Kebutuhan akan teknologi informasi pada saat ini sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi setiap perusahaan atau organisasi. Salah satu yang menerapkan perkembangan teknologi informasi itu adalah Institut Teknologi Kalimantan. Institut Teknologi Kalimantan merupakan perguruan tinggi yang berdiri sejak tahun 2012 dan seiring dengan perkembangan infrastruktur pendidikan disetiap tahunnya, pada tahun 2020 ini ITK baru saja menyelesaikan pembangunan gedung laboratorium terpadu yang berfungsi sebagai tempat penelitian, pembelajaran dan kegiatan yang bersifat akademik dan non-akademik. Laboratorium Terpadu ITK akan dipakai oleh 17 program studi yang ada di ITK, lebih dari 3000 mahasiswa dan juga dosen serta civitas akademik. Dengan keterbatasan jumlah ruangan dan aset laboratorium terhadap banyaknya pengguna laboratorium, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang berfungsi untuk memudahkan dalam melakukan pelayanan terkait penggunaan laboratorium mulai dari penjadwalan pemakaian laboratorium, peminjaman ruang laboratorium serta peminjaman alat-alat laboratorium. Oleh karena itu, suatu sistem informasi perlu dikembangkan dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan yang ada pada Laboratorium Terpadu ITK yaitu Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) Laboratorium Terpadu ITK. Metode yang digunakan pada pengembangan SIM Laboratorium Terpadu ITK adalah metode Scrum yang meliputi sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review dan sprint retrospective. Berdasarkan 5 kali iterasi selama proses pengembangan SIM Laboratorium Terpadu ITK, total backlog item yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 65 backlog item. SIM Laboratorium Terpadu ITK juga telah dihosting pada server milik ITK dan dapat diakses melalui tautan https://labterpadu.itk.ac.id.
