Abstract
Produksi polyvinyl chloride dari ethylene dichloride dengan kapasitas 26.000 ton/tahun terdiri dari dua tahapan proses, yaitu tahap sintesis PVC dan tahapan pemurnian produk PVC. Tahap sintesis PVC dilakukan dengan mereaksikan gas VCM dengan campuran berupa air, PVA, dan benzoyl peroxide. Tahap pemurnian produk PVC dilakukan untuk menghilangkan kadar air dan senyawa kimia lain yang masih terikut pada PVC agar didapatkan produk dengan kemurnian yang tinggi. Pabrik ini direncanakan berdiri di Kawasan Industri Cilegon, kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten pada tahun 2036 dengan kapasitas 26.000 ton/tahun dan beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan investasi modal tetap pabrik PVC ini sebesar Rp 373,311,360,544.02 dengan DCFR sebesar 31,41%, Net Profit value sebesar Rp 470,874,328,690.82, DPBP selama 2 tahun, ROI after tax sebesar 77.19%, BEP sebesar 49% dengan kapasitas 12,740 ton/tahun, dan SDP sebesar 19% saat kapasitas 4,490 ton/tahun.
