Abstract

Pabrik Eugenol dari bahan baku daun cengkih direncanakan berdiri di Kawasan Industri JIIPE (Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate), Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur yang beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 330 hari 24 jam pada tahun 2025 dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 5.000 ton/tahun. Proses produksi dilakukan menggunakan metode penyulingan diawali dengan tahap persiapan pemotongan daun cengkih dengan ukuran ± 2 cm kemudian disuling untuk diambil minyak atsirinya menggunakan metode Hydro-Steam Distillation. Eugenol yang terkandung pada minyak atsiri diisolasi melalui reaksi saponifikasi dan reaksi netralisasi yang terjadi di Continuous Stirred-tank Reactor (CSTR). Tahap pemurnian produk dilakukan berdasarkan perbedaan berat jenis dengan mengunakan dekanter. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan ekonomi, diperoleh investasi modal tetap pabrik eugenol sebesar Rp 280.272.165.656,69 dengan nilai DCFR sebesar 23%, Net Profit Value sebesar Rp 126.117.594.691,50, DPBP selama 7 tahun, ROI after tax sebesar 58,69%, BEP sebesar 52% dengan kapasitas 2.600 ton/tahun, dan SDP 23% saat kapasitas 1.150 ton/tahun.
