Abstract

Produksi Thorium Dioksida diperoleh dari pengolahan pasir monasit. Pasir monasit di leaching dengan Natrium Hidroksida berlebih pada kondisi suhu 170oC dan tekanan 3 atm. Konversi yang dihasilkan mencapai 99,8%. Produk utama yang dihasilkan Thorium Dioksida yang diproduksi sebanyak 10 ton/tahun dan menghasilkan produk samping Natrium Phosphate sebanyak 254,99 ton/tahun. Pabrik memiliki luas 11.250 m2 yang didirikan di Bangka, Bangka Belitung. Pabrik memiliki modal tetap (FCI) sebesar Rp 90.930.362.622,00 dan modal kerja (WCI) sebesar Rp 16.046.538.101,00. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik sebesar Rp 106.976.900.723,00. Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi, pabrik ini memiliki nilai ROI sebesar 119,73%, BEP sebesar 50%, SDP sebesar 38%, NPV sebesar Rp 166.084.879.877,00, DCFR sebesar 25,87% dan DPBP sebesar 6 tahun. Dari aspek tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendirian pabrik Thorium Dioksida menarik untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.
