Abstract

KMP kalibodri adalah kendaraan pengangkut penumpang dan kendaraan umum dari kabupaten kotawaringin barat, provinsi Kalimantan tengah menuju kabupaten Kendal, provinsi jawa tengah. Kapal ini masih menggunakan lampu fluorescent sebagai penerangannya. Sistem penerangan pada kapal di era modern ini mulai menggunakan penerangan lampu jenis LED ketimbang dengan lampu fluorescent. Sistem penerangan menggunakan lampu fluorescent pada geladak penumpang adalah sebesar 15.83 Kw dan sistem penerangan menggunakan lampu LED pada geladak penumpang sebesar 8.45 Kw. Kebutuhan daya secara keseluruhan pada sistem kelistrikan kapal menggunakan lampu jenis LED pada sistem penerangannya adalah sebesar 168.1 Kw pada kodisi berlayar, 327.6 Kw pada kondisi masuk dan keluar pelabuhan, dan 168.3 Kw pada kondisi bongkar muat, 60.3 Kw pada kondisi Emergency Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui lampu mana yang lebih baik digunakan untuk KMP.
