Abstract

Produksi vinil asetat berbahan baku etilena, asam asetat dan oksigen dengan kapasitas 38.000 ton/tahun melalui empat tahapan proses, yaitu tahapan preparasi bahan baku, tahap pereaksian, tahap pemisahan produk dan tahap penyimpanan produk. Pabrik vinil asetat beroperasi selama 24 jam setiap harinya dan 330 hari dalam setahun. Pabrik direncanakan akan berdiri di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Pabrik vinil asetat membutuhkan listrik sebesar 372.456 kW, membutuhkan air sebesar 35,186 m3/jam, membutuhkan steam sebesar 10251,637 kg/jam dan membutuhkan refrigerant sebesar 55711,657 kg/jam. Modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang digunakan dalam pabrik ini berturut-turut nilainya sebesar $ 25.074.729,46 dan $ 4.424.952,26. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pada pabrik Vinil Asetat ini sebesar $ 29.499.681,72. Pabrik ini menggunakan peminjaman dana sebesar 40% dari modal tetap sebesar $ 10.029.891,78 dan penggunaan dana mandiri sebesar 60% dari modal tetap sebesar $ 15.044.837,68. Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi nilai DCFR pabrik vinil asetat ini sebesar 55,17%, ROI sebesar 96,31%, NPV sebesar $113.893.164 dan DPBP sebesar 1,13 tahun.
