Abstract

Rancang bangun sistem PLTS sebagai energi utama dalam menggerakkan pompa DC 180 Watt dengan PLTS dengan kapasitas 250 Wp sebagai sumber energi listrik, serta alat MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) 12/24 Volt 30 ampere sebagai pengatur tegangan, baterai 60 Ah 12 Volt, dan sebuah pompa DC 12 Volt/180 Watt untuk memindahkan air. Dari percobaan pompa DC pada keadaan hidup dapat menghasilkan air 8400 liter/hari. Efisiensi pengangktan air dengan sistem PLTS, dari hasil pengukuran dan perhitungan diperoleh besar nilai efisiensi sebesar 0,186 %. Pompa DC hanya bisa bekerja di reting tegangan 12 Volt. Salah satu percobaan yang dilakukan jika motor DC langsung disambungkan menggunakan panel surya yang output tegangan sebesar 38.5 Volt maka pompa DC tak dapat bekerja karena terjadi Over Voltage, sehingga digunakanlah MPPT untuk mengatur tegangan yang akan masuk ke reting kerja pompa DC.
