Abstract

Digital Twin merupakan representasi dari suatu objek fisik menjadi digital. Dalam hal ini digunakan Baterai sebagai objek sistem fisik menjadi representasi digital secara simulasi menggunakan software MATLAB. Tugas akhir digital twin menambahkan Battery Management System di Baterai Lithium Ion 12V 10Ah dan Baterai VRLA 12V 10Ah. Battery Management System menyelesaikan permasalah manajemen baterai dan mengimplementasi data aktual baterai sehingga diharapkan memiliki kemiripan terhadap data simulasi. Kemiripan data aktual dan data simulasi inilah yang disebut Digital Twin. Kedua metode passive balance dan active balance digunakan dalam BMS untuk mencari metode yang lebih baik dan memiliki kemiripan dalam menghasilkan data sesuai dengan data pembanding (data aktual). Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan mendesain sirkuit sederhana terdiri dari 4 cell baterai yang dirangkai menjadi battery pack disertai proses charger dan discharger. Battery Management System diatur menggunakan Matlab function yang didalam terdapat sourcode sederhana sesuai dengan metode balance yang diberikan. Berdasarkan pengujian diperoleh nilai RMSE passive balance baterai lithium sebesar 1,115 dan active balance baterai lithium sebesar 6,629. Sedangkan nilai RMSE passive balance baterai VRLA sebesar 2,148 dan active balance baterai VRLA sebesar 7,251. Hasil simulasi membuktikan bahwa metode passive balance lebih optimal karena nilai RMSE yang kecil dan compiling data yang baik dibandingkan dengan metode active balance.
