Abstract

Pantai Lamaru rawan terhadap angin kencang yang menyebabkan ombak tinggi sehingga rentan terjadi pengikisan daratan yang biasa disebut sebagai abrasi. Perubahan yang terjadi akibat penambahan volume daratan disebut sebagai akresi. Abrasi yang terjadi secara terus menerus dapat merubah bentuk pantai baik maju atau mundur yang di masa depan dikhawatirkan dapat memengaruhi kegiatan masyarakat setempat. Salah satu permasalahan yang akan timbul ialah bertambah atau berkurangnya luas daratan yang akan memengaruhi luas pemanfaatan lahan dan mengancam aktivitas manusia. Selain itu terdapat situs Pemakaman Jepang yang juga dikhawatirkan akan turut tergerus oleh abrasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi di Pantai Lamaru Kota Balikpapan. Hasil simulasi jangka 6 tahun (2016-2022) menunjukkan akresi maksimum sebesar 63,82 meter dan abrasi maksimum sebesar -46,26 meter. Hasil simulasi jangka 5 tahun (2022-2027) menunjukkan akresi maksimum sebesar 51,03 meter dan abrasi maksimum sebesar -38,48 meter. Hasil simulasi jangka 10 tahun (2022-2033) menunjukkan akresi maksimum sebesar 94,58 meter dan abrasi maksimum sebesar -58,52 meter. Hasil simulasi jangka 15 tahun (2022-2037) menunjukkan akresi maksimum sebesar 116,81 meter dan abrasi maksimum sebesar -70,59 meter.
