Abstract

Produksi PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride) dari bauksit dengan kapasitas 89.000 ton/tahun terdiri dari 2 tahap proses utama. Tahapan pertama merupakan proses digesti bauksit dan NaOH dan tahapan yang kedua adalah mereaksikan aluminium hidroksida dengan HCl untuk menghasilkan PAC dalam bentuk liquid yang nantinya akan melalui proses spray drying hingga didapatkan PAC dalam bentuk powder. Pabrik PAC memiliki jumlah pekerja sebanyak 100 orang pekerja, dengan waktu operasional 24 jam perhari yang dibagi 3 shift dengan masing masing 8 jam kerja. Pabrik ini rencananya akan didirikan di Tayan, Kalimantan Barat dimana lokasi ini dipilih karena dekat dengan bahan baku utama yaitu bauksit. Pabrik PAC ini membutuhkan listrik sebesar 600 kW dan kebutuhan air sebesar 265.477,26 kg/jam. Adapun modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan pabrik ini secara berturut-turut sebesar Rp. 454.336.614.953,89.- dan Rp. 80.117.049.697,75.-, sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik ini sebesar 545.088.876.682,29-. Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi nilai DCFR pabrik ini sebesar 24,6%, ROI sebesar 77% dan BEP sebesar 70%. Dari aspek tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik PAC ini layak dikaji lebih lanjut.
