Abstract

Intensitas kebutuhan infrastruktur mengalami peningkatan setiap harinya, namun industri konstruksi kerap menjadi akar permasalahan utama yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan karena sering bertentangan dengan kelestarian alam. Dampak negatif yang berasal dari perkembangan industri konstruksi sangat mengkhawatirkan. Maka dari itu, diperlukan kerangka pemikiran yang cakupannya luas dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan generasi di masa depan, konsep ini disebut sustainable construction atau konstruksi berkelanjutan. Tetapi masih banyak pembangunan yang belum menerapkan konsep ini karena beberapa faktor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menjadi penghambat, faktor penghambat utama yang paling berpengaruh serta solusi dalam penerapan konsep sustainable construction. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada para stakeholder dan analisis data yang menggunakan metode statistik dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas dan analisis faktor. Dari analisis ini ditemukan 5 faktor-faktor penghambat utama yang paling berpengaruh menurut para stakeholder di Kota Samarinda. Adapun kelima faktor tersebut adalah belum ada kebijakan ataupun standar yang mengatur penerapan konsep sustainable construction, kurangnya pelatihan khusus yang dilaksanakan untuk para karyawan, teknik konstruksi yang dilakukan berbeda, minimnya informasi terkait penerapan konsep sustainable construction dan penataan wilayah dan lokasi proyek yang masih kurang mendukung.
