Abstract
Pupuk NPK adalah pupuk yang terdiri dari beberapa unsur penting bagi tanaman, seperti nitrogen, fosfor, dan kalium. Metode produksi yang digunakan adalah mixed acid route. Pabrik ini akan di bangun pada tahun 2028 dengan kapasitas produksi 1090 ton/hari akan didirikan di Kawasan Industri Gresik JIIPE, Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur, yang dipilih karena kemudahan akses bahan baku dan distribusi produk. Proses pembuatan pupuk NPK meliputi pencampuran bahan baku padat (urea, ZA, dan KCl) dengan bahan baku cair (amoniak, asam fosfat, dan asam sulfat) di dalam granulator untuk membentuk butiran. Tahap pengeringan menggunakan rotary dryer untuk mengurangi kadar air pupuk hingga 1,5%. Pemisahan produk berdasarkan ukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan screen. Pendinginan dilakukan dengan udara dingin di dalam rotary cooler. Tahap pelapisan menggunakan minyak pelapis dan bubuk pelapis untuk mencegah penggumpalan. Pabrik ini dioperasikan secara kontinyu selama 330 hari/tahun dengan waktu operasi 24 jam/hari. Bahan baku yang dibutuhkan antara lain NH3 sebanyak 3619,771551 kg/jam, H3PO4 sebanyak 13252,71373 kg/jam, KCl sebanyak 6848,580395 kg/jam, H2SO4 sebanyak 3831,521849 kg/jam, CO(NH2)2 sebanyak 2737,518689 kg/jam, dan (NH4)2SO4 sebanyak 20907,19046 kg/jam. Dengan evaluasai ekonomi TCI sebesar Rp. 400.417.035.000, DCFR sebesar 46,74%, ROI sebesar 81,23%, BEP sebesar 55%, SDP sebesar 30%, DPBP selama 2,84 tahun.
