Abstract

Produksi nikel sulfat dari nikel laterit dengan kapasitas 800 ton/tahun dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu, yaitu proses pre-treatment bahan baku, tahapa leaching dan tahap pemurnian. Tahap leaching dilakukan dengan mereaksikan asam sulfat dengan bijih nikel laterit pada reaktor alir berpengaduk. Selanjutnya proses pemurnianan dilakukan dengan tujuan agar produk mempunyai nilai konsentrasi yang tinggi. Pabrik ini direncanakan akan didirikan Sulawesi Tenggara Kecamatan Pomala Kabupaten Kolaka dengan luas tanah 90000 m2.. Adapun pabrik nikel sulfat ini membutuhkan listrik sebesar 668 kW dan kebutuhan air sebesar 200681.03 kg/jam. Adapun modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan dalam pembangunan pabrik ini secara berturut – turut sebesar $ 19,101,360.6 dan $ 2,435,423.48. Sehingga jumlah modal investasi (TCI) pabrik ini sebesar $ 21,536,784.07. Berdasarkan aspek ekonomi nilai DCFR pabrik ini sebesar 39,14 %, ROI sebesar 83% dan BEP sebesar 69%. Dari aspek tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik nikel sulfat ini dapat dikaji lebih lanjut.
