Abstract
Dalam bidang geologi dan hidrogeologi, penelitian mengenai identifikasi struktur lapisan bawah permukaan menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas konfigurasi Schlumberger dan Wenner memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Prinsip kerja metode geolistrik ini didasarkan pada perbedaan resistivitas atau konduktivitas material di bawah permukaan, di mana arus listrik diinjeksikan melalui dua elektroda dan responsnya berupa potensial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami struktur lapisan bawah permukaan serta mengidentifikasi sebaran rembesan limbah di sekitar area kolam penampungan limbah di PT. X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tiga struktur lapisan yang berbeda dengan nilai resistivitas yang beragam. Pertama, terdapat lapisan lempung dengan nilai resistivitas antara 0,764 hingga 12,4 Ωm. Kedua, lapisan lempung pasiran dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar antara 15,3 hingga 88,3 Ωm. Dan ketiga, lapisan lempung terkompaksi dengan nilai resistivitas mencapai 132 Ωm. Dari hasil nilai resistivitas tersebut, terdapat indikasi adanya rembesan pada lintasan 2 yang berada di jalur tengah kolam penampungan limbah. Indikasi ini muncul pada bentang elektroda sepanjang 15 hingga 37 meter dengan nilai resistivitas 0,764 Ωm pada kedalaman 2 meter. Selain itu, sebaran rembesan juga terlihat pada lintasan 1, 3, dan 5, namun rembesan lebih dominan menyebar ke arah lintasan 3, yaitu ke arah barat.
