Abstract

Kantor parkir dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan perguruan tinggi memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kenyamanan, aksesibilitas dan pengamanan bagi pedestrian yang akan beraktivitas di kampus. Saat ini Institut X memiliki jarak antara kantong parkir dan gedung kelas yang jauh, sehingga dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya beban kerja fisik pada mahasiswa. Beban kerja fisik dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kelelahan yang dapat mengganggu proses pembelajaran mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai beban kerja fisik menggunakan metode Cardiovascular Load (CVL), konsumsi oksigen (VO2 Max), kalori dan mengetahui pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap %CVL dan VO2 Max serta memberikan rekomendasi sederhana dalam menentukan letak kantong parkir dari analisis kategori beban kerja fisik yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan 26 responden yang dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu 13 responden laki – laki dan 13 responden perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan hasil %CVL pada responden laki – laki didapatkan 5 rute dengan kategori ringan dan 8 rute dengan kategori sedang sedangkan hasil %CVL pada responden perempuan didapatkan 12 rute dengan kategori sedang dan 1 rute dengan kategori agak berat. Hasil VO2 Max pada laki – laki yaitu semua rute termasuk kedalam kategori ekstream berat sedangkan untuk perempuan hasil VO2 Max didapatkan 4 rute dengan kategori sangat berat dan 9 rute dengan kategori ekstream berat. Terdapat pengaruh antara jenis kelamin laki – laki dan perempuan terhadap %CVL pada rute 1, rute 2, rute 3, rute 5, rute 7, rute 8 rute 9, rute 10, rute 11, rute 12 dan rute 13 dan terdapat pengaruh jenis kelamin perempuan dan laki – laki terhadap VO2 Max pada 13 rute.Rekomendasi sederhana yang didapatkan yaitu rekomendasi standar penggunaan kantong parkir, rekomendasi perluasaan kantong parkir dan rekomendasi penambahan kantong parkir dan pembuatan rest area.
