Abstract

UMKM Barokah merupakan salah satu UMKM di Kota Balikpapan yang memproduksi kerupuk koin. Pada UMKM ini terdapat permasalahan pada pengendalian bahan baku berupa persediaan bahan baku yang tidak dikendalikan dengan baik sehingga berakibat overstock pada bahan baku dan berdampak pada kerupuk koin yang tidak habis pada saat proses distribusi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengendalikan persediaan bahan baku pada UMKM, kemudian menentukan frekuensi pemesanan yang efektif, dan mengetahui waktu pemesanan kembali dari bahan baku yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan lot sizing berupa Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) dan Period Order Quantity (POQ), serta perhitungan safety stock dan reorder point. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah jumlah persediaan bahan baku yang sesuai berdasarkan MRP dengan total biaya persediaan minimum adalah pada hasil POQ yaitu sebesar Rp 396.543.717,56. Interval pemesanan selama 52 periode ditetapkan menggunakan POQ dengan interval yaitu minyak goreng 6 minggu, plastik kemasan 26 minggu, tepung terigu 5 minggu, bawang putih 4 minggu, garam 5 minggu, dan MSG 5 minggu. Adapun waktu pemesanan kembali yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan reorder point yaitu ketika bahan baku menyentuh jumlah paling sedikit sebagai berikut, minyak goreng 552 liter, plastik kemasan 73573 gram, tepung terigu 1121855 gram, bawang putih 412711 gram, garam 17944 gram dan MSG 15791 gram.
