Abstract
Penelitian ini menyelidiki efek perubahan besarnya arus listrik selama proses pengelasan terhadap sifat mekanik dan struktur mikroskopis baja ASTM-A36. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa arus yang lebih kecil (90A) memberikan kekuatan lentur yang paling baik, sementara arus yang lebih besar (120A) menghasilkan kekerasan yang lebih tinggi. Struktur mikro bagian dalam baja lasan juga dipengaruhi oleh besarnya arus. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang bagaimana memilih arus yang tepat saat mengelas baja jenis ini untuk mendapatkan sifat mekanik yang diinginkan.
