Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan nyamuk aedes aegypti sebagai vektor utama. Penyebaran kasusnya secara global diperkirakan mencapai dua per tiga dari penduduk dunia berisiko tertular. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data pasien demam berdarah dengue dari Rumah Sakit Pertamina Balikpapan serta data iklim dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG). Metode yang digunakan yaitu model Accelerated Failure Time (AFT) berdistribusi lognormal dalam menemukan faktor yang mempengaruhi penyebab lama rawat inap dan model Generalized Linear Model (GLM) dalam menemukan variabel iklim yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah kasus DBD. Faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyebab lama rawat inap adalah pasien usia bayi dan pasien dengan kategori usia bayi dan balita (usia 1), kategori penyakit menular dan parasit tertentu serta penyakit sistem pernapasan (komorbid 2) dan kategori penyakit menular dan parasit tertentu serta penyakit lainnya (komorbid 3). Faktor iklim yang berpengaruh terhadap jumlah kasus DBD yaitu curah hujan dan kelembaban, dimana hubungan antara curah hujan dan jumlah kasus DBD berkorelasi positif yang mengindikasikan apabila terdapat peningkatan curah hujan cenderung akan meningkatkan jumlah kasus DBD. Adapun hubungan antara kelembaban dan jumlah kasus DBD berkorelasi negatif yang mengindikasikan apabila terdapat peningkatan kelembaban cenderung diikuti penurunan jumlah kasus DBD.
