Abstract

Dalam kegiatan harian PT Tribhakti Inspektama menghasilkan beberapa jenis sampah, salah satunya adalah jenis sampah plastik Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), jenis sampah tersebut berpotensi untuk dilakukan pemanfaatan, seperti pemanfaatan sebagai bahan tambahan dalam pembuatan paving block yang memiliki beberapa kelebihan seperti ketahanan terhadap bahan kimia, kelenturan yang tinggi, serta bobot yang ringan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan variasi persentase limbah plastik PET sebesar 0%, 5%, 7,5%, dan 10%, serta menggunakan perbandingan 1:5 antara semen dengan agregat halus. Melakukan pengujian kuat tekan serta penyerapan air berdasarkan standar yang telah ditentukan pada SNI 03-0691-1996 dengan target mutu D, dengan target minimal nilai kuat tekan yaitu 10 MPa dan penyerapan air maksimal yaitu 10%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan terhadap variasi campuran 1, 2, dan 3, diperoleh nilai kuat tekan rata-rata yang berkisar antara 7,68 MPa hingga 8,72 MPa. Sementara itu, hasil uji penyerapan air pada ketiga variasi tersebut menunjukkan kisaran nilai antara 7,62% sampai dengan 9,12%
