Abstract

Limbah Bahan Berbahaya dan Beracun (B3) merupakan isu krusial dalam pengelolaan lingkungan yang memerlukan penanganan khusus. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara (TPS) limbah B3 di PT. X dengan memperhatikan standar keselamatan kerja dan dampak lingkungan. Analisis dilakukan terhadap jenis dan karakteristik limbah B3 yang dihasilkan, di mana limbah oli tercatat sebagai limbah dengan volume tertinggi, sedangkan aki bekas merupakan yang terendah. Desain fisik TPS divisualisasikan menggunakan perangkat lunak AutoCAD dan SketchUp untuk memastikan kelayakan teknis dan efisiensi ruang. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) diterapkan untuk menentukan skenario terbaik berdasarkan berbagai kriteria. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung pengelolaan limbah B3 yang lebih baik di PT. X serta menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan sistem penyimpanan limbah yang aman dan berkelanjutan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Alternatif 1 adalah desain paling ideal berdasarkan kriteria luas bangunan, jenis kemasan, dan efisiensi tata letak. Penelitian ini mendesak untuk dilaksanakan demi mencegah praktik pengelolaan yang keliru seperti pembakaran limbah, serta untuk mendorong kepatuhan terhadap peraturan dan penerapan sistem penyimpanan yang aman dan berkelanjutan.
