Abstract

Sensor elektrokimia adalah perangkat yang memberikan informasi real-time untuk mendeteksi dan mengukur konsentrasi zat kimia tertentu melalui reaksi elektrokimia. Elektroda Boron Doped Diamond (BDD) sering digunakan dalam sensor elektrokimia karena stabilitas kimia dan mekaniknya yang tinggi, konduktivitas yang tinggi, jendela potensial yang luas serta dapat mendeteksi suatu zat dengan konsentrasi terendah. BDD adalah semikonduktor yang didoping boron untuk mendapatkan karakteristik semi-logam yang cocok sebagai elektroda. Penelitian ini menggunakan elektroda kerja BDD CoONPs untuk mendeteksi kadar obat hydrocortisone (HC), yang digunakan sebagai anti-inflamasi, meredakan peradangan serta mengurangi reaksi sistem kekebalan tubuh. Karena HC memiliki potensi hepatotoksik dan efek samping, penting untuk memantau kadarnya. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV) dalam larutan NaOH 0,1 M. Mekanisme reaksi diteliti menggunakan Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV) dengan variasi pH dalam rentang potensial +0,5 V hingga +1,6 V (vs.Ag/AgCl). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa BDD/CoONPs memiliki sensitivitas yang lebih tinggi terdapat pada puncak arus oksidasi pada 6,5 µA cm-2 pada potensial +0.75 V sedangkan GC/CoONPs terdapat puncak oksidasi pada 6,5 µA cm-2 pada potensial -0.38 V (vs.Ag/AgCl).
