Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, karbon aktif disintesis dari tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) dan selanjutnya didoping dengan SiO₂ yang berasal dari limbah pasir panas bumi untuk aplikasi dalam sel koin ion litium. Proses aktivasi kimia, yang dioptimalkan melalui variasi konsentrasi NaOH, mengidentifikasi C–1M sebagai struktur terbaik, yang menunjukkan luas permukaan 107,79 m²g⁻¹, kapasitansi spesifik 243,72 mAhg⁻¹, dan stabilitas tegangan hingga 2,52 V. Setelah doping silika, komposit SiO₂–G/C–1M mencapai luas permukaan yang luar biasa sebesar 191,67 m²g⁻¹, peningkatan kapasitansi sebesar 375,88 mAhg⁻¹, dan keluaran tegangan yang stabil sebesar 2,76 V. Peningkatan ini dihasilkan dari peningkatan mesoporositas, perluasan jalur difusi ion, dan ketersediaan situs aktif yang diperkaya. Hasil ini memvalidasi karbon OPEFB yang didoping silika sebagai potensi elektroda berkinerja tinggi yang dapat diskalakan untuk sistem penyimpanan energi berkelanjutan generasi berikutnya.
