Abstract

Cortisol secara sintesis disebut sebagai hydrocortisone (HC). Hydrocortisone (C21H30O5) merupakan glukokortikoid fisiologis dan obat untuk melawan peradangan sistemik. Sensor elektrokimia memainkan peran penting sebagai metode deteksi karena keunggulannya, seperti biaya rendah, fleksibilitas, kemudahan penggunaan, portabilitas, waktu analisis yang cepat, reproduktivitas, stabilitas jangka panjang, dan kebutuhan minimum untuk perlakuan sampel. Boron Doped Diamond (BDD) merupakan salah satu elektroda kerja pada sensor elektrokimia yang dapat digunakan di berbagai aplikasi deteksi. Modifikasi BDD dilakukan untuk meningkatkan luas permukaan elektroda, sensitivitas elektroda, serta selektivitas elektroda terhadap analit tertentu. Modifikasi ini menggunakan nanopartikel kobalt oksida (CoONPs) dan nafion dengan metode green synthesis. Metode green synthesis sebagai metode uji menggunakan bahan alami yaitu biji jintan (Nigella sativa) yang berfungsi sebagai zat penstabil dan pereduksi dalam sintesis oksida logam. Pada penelitian ini BDD dipilih sebagai elektroda kerja untuk mendeteksi HC dalam elektrolit NaOH 0.1 M dengan metode Different Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). Kemudian dilakukan investigasi mekanisme reaksi dengan metode DPV, variasi konsentrasi 0.040 µM, 0.080 µM, 0.12 µM, 0.16 µM, 0.20 µM, dan rentang potensial +0.5 V hingga +1.6 V (vs. Ag/AgCl).
