Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja Interleaved Buck Converter (IBC) dengan penerapan pengendali Model Predictive Control (MPC) Berbasis Kalman Observer untuk meningkatkan kestabilan tegangan output, akurasi arus induktor, serta efisiensi daya. Simulasi dilakukan menggunakan MATLAB/Simulink pada empat skenario: tanpa kendali, dengan Kalman Observer, dengan MPC, dan dengan kombinasi MPC–Kalman Observer. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa implementasi MPC menghasilkan performa paling unggul dengan tegangan output mendekati 23,89 V, error steady-state 0,11 V, rise time 644 µs, dan efisiensi sistem sebesar 96,6%. Sementara itu, konfigurasi MPC–Kalman Observer menghasilkan tegangan 23,35 V dengan error steady-state 0,17 V, rise time 700 µs, dan efisiensi 95,1%. Meskipun Kalman Observer membantu estimasi variabel sistem, kinerja terbaik tetap ditunjukkan oleh MPC tunggal karena lebih cepat dalam merespons perubahan beban dan mempertahankan kestabilan tegangan. Sistem tanpa kendali menunjukkan performa terburuk dengan error terbesar dan waktu stabil yang lambat. Keseluruhan hasil menunjukkan bahwa MPC merupakan metode kendali yang efektif dan efisien untuk aplikasi konversi daya, terutama pada sistem multikabangan seperti IBC. Penggabungan dengan Kalman Observer disarankan apabila pengukuran langsung tidak tersedia, meskipun dengan kompromi pada efisiensi dan waktu stabil. Oleh karena itu, metode MPC sangat layak untuk diterapkan dalam sistem kendali Berbasis DC–DC converter yang menuntut respons cepat dan presisi tinggi.
