Abstract

Industri galangan kapal merupakan suatu industri yang memiliki peran penting dan paling utama dalam perekonomian nasional, terutama dalam mendukung kegiatan ekspor maupun impor dan transportasi laut. Maka dari itu hal ini memerlukan perencanaan yang cermat untuk memastikan efisiensi waktu dan sumber daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode Critical Path Method (CPM) dalam perencanaan dan pengelolaan proyek reparasi kapal Crane Barge. Metode CPM dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengidentifikasi jalur kritis yang menentukan durasi minimum proyek, sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan proses pembangunan kapal. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dengan studi literatur terkait. Proses reparasi kapal kemudian dimodelkan dalam diagram jaringan CPM untuk mengidentifikasi aktivitas-aktivitas kritis dan menghitung durasi proyek yang optimal. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode lintasan kritis membuktikan bahwa durasi total pengerjaan Barge Crane dapat mengalami percepatan yaitu terdapat selisih 7 hari lebih cepat dari durasi pengerjaan, sehingga pekerjaan reparasi dapat terselesaikan dalam 95 hari.
