Abstract

Kebutuhan akan n-butil akrilat di Indonesia telah mencapai 132.467 ton/tahun, sementara kapasitas produksi dalam negeri hanya 40.000 ton/tahun, sehingga menciptakan defisit pasokan yang sebagian besar dipenuhi dari impor. Ketergantungan ini semakin mengkhawatirkan, dikarenakan nilai rata-rata volume impor meningkat sebesar 6,01% per tahun, dan menyebabkan paparan terhadap fluktuasi harga serta risiko pasokan global. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dirancanglah pabrik n-butil akrilat dengan kapasitas 74.000 ton/tahun, menggunakan proses esterifikasi antara asam akrilat dan n-butanol dalam reaktor fixed bed single tube berisi katalis Amberlyst 131, yang mampu mencapai konversi reaksi sebesar 80%. Pemurnian dilakukan melalui distilasi bertingkat tekanan untuk memperoleh produk dengan kemurnian 99,5%. Pabrik dirancang beroperasi selama 330 hari/tahun, 24 jam per hari. Evaluasi ekonomi menunjukkan kebutuhan modal tetap Rp. 89.681.265.065, modal kerja Rp. 15.826.105.600, dan biaya produksi tahunan Rp. 1.521.659.807.627. Analisis profitabilitas menghasilkan ROI 63%, NPV Rp. 416.367.484.065, DCFR 30%, BEP 77,28%, dan DPBP 3,7 tahun, membuktikan proyek ini layak secara finansial dan strategis dalam mendukung kemandirian industri kimia nasional.
