Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen dari penggemar terhadap kasus Suga BTS menggunakan pendekatan Lexicon-Based dan metode pembobotan TF-IDF. Kasus yang melibatkan Suga, salah satu anggota grup vokal bernama BTS ini telah memicu reaksi dari berbagai kalangan penggemar di media sosial, terutama Twitter. Data dikumpulkan dari platform media sosial Twitter menggunakan Tweet Harvest dengan kata kunci dan rentang waktu tertentu. Analisis sentimen yang digunakan adalah NRC Emotion Lexicon untuk mengklasifikasikan emosi ke dalam sepuluh kategori serta pembobotan TF-IDF untuk menguatkan skor per kata. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa emosi negatif yang paling dominan adalah Sadness dan Fear, sedangkan untuk emosi positif yang adalah Trust dan Joy. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan kepada Suga BTS tetap kuat meskipun memiliki hasil sentimen negatif. Data normalisasi yang menggunakan kamus leksikon menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 85,31% sedangkan data normalisasi dengan manual menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 86,89%. Pendekatan kombinasi ini terbukti bisa mendapatkan hasil yang efektif mengenai sentimen dan emosi pada sosial media terutama dalam bidang dunia hiburan.
