Abstract

Abstrak_id Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi seberapa efektiv produksi dengan penambahan lahan sebagai fasilitas produksi perbaikan kapal. Permasalahan utama yang terjadi adalah ketidakefektifannya tata letak dan kurangnya pemanfaatan lahan eksisting sehingga tingkat produksi kapal menurun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode perencanaan Systematic Layout planning dengan menganalisis hubungan antara aktivitas produksi antar fasilitas dengan aliran material handling pada proses produksi. Hasil analisis dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan lahan baru dan penambahan fasilitas gudang penyimpanan plate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan penambahan gudang plate, aliran material handling menurunkan presentase waktu tunggu material dari layout yang ada sekitar 75% menjadi 5.25% peningkatan jumlah produksi. Dengan pemanfaatan lahan seluas 14.778 m2 atau setara dengan 1.4775 Ha, mengalami peningkatan produksi sebesar 78.605 GT menjadi 108.699 GT/tahun. Dengan pemanfaatan lahan dapat mengalami penurunan waktu tunggu material dan peningkatan jumlah produksi kapal/tahun. Abstrak_en The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of production with the addition of land as a production facility for ship repair. The main problem that occurs is the ineffectiveness of the layout arrangement and the lack of utilization of existing land so that the level of ship production decreases. The method used is the Systematic Layout planning method by analyzing the relationship between proximity activities between facilities and the flow of material handling in the production process. The results of the analysis were carried out with the use of new land and the addition of plate storage facilities. The results show that with the addition of a plate warehouse, the flow of material handling reduces the percentage of material waiting time from the existing layout by around 75% to 5.25% with an increase in the amount of production with the use of land of 1,4775 Ha experiencing an increase in production from the existing layout of 78,605 GT to 108,699 GT / year. with the use of land can experience a decrease in material waiting time and an increase in the amount of ship production / year.
