Abstract
Penelitian ini berfokus pada modifikasi arsitektur Sigma-Delta Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) berbasis Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) untuk mendukung konversi sinyal spike digital ke analog dalam aplikasi neuromorphic hardware digital. DAC dirancang agar mampu menangani karakteristik sinyal spike—seperti densitas, durasi, dan frekuensi tinggi—dengan latensi rendah dan efisiensi konsumsi daya. Modifikasi dilakukan pada tahap truncation dan arsitektur loop filter Sigma-Delta DAC, serta penerapan metode Multi-Stage Noise Shaping (MASH) dengan konfigurasi 1-bit dan 3-bit DAC. Implementasi dan simulasi menggunakan bahasa Verilog dan platform FPGA Altera Cyclone V. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi meningkatkan linearitas, menurunkan latensi, serta mengoptimalkan parameter performa seperti SNR, dan ENOB. Sinyal analog hasil konversi dievaluasi menggunakan spike input tonic dengan sampel sinyal sinusoidal dengan frekuensi 15 Hz. Konsumsi daya dianalisis menggunakan Intel Quartus Power Analyzer dan alat ukur multimeter untuk bagian analog. DAC hasil sebelum dan sesudah modifikasi masih menunjukkan performa yang kurang baik, karena penanganan error/noise pemotongan yang belum maksimal.
