Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan salah satu ancaman terbesar di lingkungan industri karena dapat menimbulkan kerugian berupa kehilangan aset fisik, membahayakan keselamatan pekerja, serta menimbulkan kerusakan lingkungan. Penulis menerapkan Fire Control and Safety Plan pada kapal tugboat sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam pembangunan kapal baru, dengan tujuan mengurangi risiko terjadinya kebakaran yang tidak terduga di atas kapal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan rencana pengendalian kebakaran dan keselamatan yang sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan, antara lain Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi No. 05 Tahun 2018 tentang Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3), Undang-Undang No. 28 Tahun 2002 tentang Penanggulangan Kebakaran, OSHA Shipyard Industry Standard, serta standar dari National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Proposal tugas akhir ini disusun berdasarkan metodologi yang sistematis dan dijabarkan melalui diagram alir (flowchart) hingga seluruh rangkaian penelitian selesai dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan standar keselamatan kerja bagi awak kapal tugboat serta menjadi acuan bagi kapal lainnya dalam upaya meminimalkan risiko kebakaran di atas kapal.
