Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas perbandingan kebutuhan daya listrik untuk sistem penerangan pada kapal phinisi berdasarkan dua standar utama, yaitu American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) dan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Analisis dilakukan dengan menghitung kebutuhan daya pada beberapa skenario desain, termasuk jenis lampu, distribusi penerangan, dan tingkat intensitas cahaya yang disyaratkan oleh kedua standar. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa standar ABS cenderung memproyeksikan kebutuhan daya yang lebih besar dibandingkan standar SNI, terutama karena persyaratan intensitas pencahayaan yang lebih tinggi dan margin keamanan yang lebih luas. Di sisi lain, standar SNI lebih menekankan efisiensi energi dan penyesuaian dengan kebutuhan lokal.Perbedaan dalam pendekatan ini memberikan dampak signifikan pada desain sistem kelistrikan kapal, termasuk jumlah daya cadangan yang diperlukan dan ukuran generator yang digunakan.
