Abstract

Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan dan pemrosesan bahasa alami mendorong kemajuan penerjemahan otomatis. Terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Sunda diperlukan sebagai upaya mendukung pelestarian bahasa daerah di tengah menurunnya jumlah penutur bahasa Sunda. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan model Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer untuk menerjemahkan Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Sunda, dengan dua mekanisme perhatian yaitu Multi-Head Attention dan Talking-Heads Attention. Dataset berisi 92.287 kalimat bahasa Indonesia yang didapatkan dari platform HuggingFace dan kalimat bahasa Sunda yang didapatkan dari menerjemahkan kalimat bahasa Indonesia dengan library GoogleTrans, yang melalui tahap cleaning dan tokenisasi sebelum digunakan untuk melatih model T5. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan BLEU dan METEOR, serta Mean Opinion Score. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model dengan Talking-Heads Attention memberikan kinerja lebih baik dengan skor BLEU 0.23 dan METEOR 0.53 dibanding Multi-Head Attention dengan skor BLEU 0.21 dan METEOR 0.50, serta skor Mean Opinion Score pada model dengan Talking-Heads Attention dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 3.47, sedangkan model dengan Multi-Head Attention memperoleh rata-rata skor MOS sebesar 2.92. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa variasi mekanisme perhatian dapat meningkatkan kualitas terjemahan, serta mendukung pengembangan teknologi penerjemahan bahasa daerah.
