Abstract

Perilaku musuh merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam game horor karena menentukan tingkat ketegangan dan imersi pemain. Penelitian ini mengembangkan game horor 3D berjudul Last Fear menggunakan Unreal engine dengan pendekatan Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). Implementasi Behavior tree digunakan untuk mengatur perilaku musuh secara modular dan adaptif terhadap aksi pemain, sementara Waypoint Navigation diterapkan untuk mengelola jalur patroli dan pergerakan musuh dalam lingkungan permainan. Game dirancang dengan sudut pandang orang pertama, berlatar sebuah mansion tua yang gelap dan penuh teka-teki, serta menghadirkan fitur eksplorasi, puzzle, mekanisme stamina, inventori, senter dengan keterbatasan baterai, dan opsi bersembunyi untuk menghindari musuh. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, dan release. Pengujian dilakukan melalui metode Black box Testing, serta evaluasi pengguna dengan kuesioner Skala Likert. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan game horor 3D menggunakan metode Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), disertai penerapan Behavior tree dan Waypoint Navigation, berhasil menghasilkan sistem permainan yang berjalan secara fungsional. Hal ini diperkuat melalui evaluasi pengguna pada tahap beta yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,20 pada skala Likert dan termasuk dalam kategori layak.
