Abstract
Pra-rancangan pabrik biogas dari limbah organik bertujuan memanfaatkan permasalahan sampah di Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, sebagai kota penyokong IKN yang memiliki konsep zero waste yang menerapkan prinsip 3R (Reduce, Reuse, dan recycle). Limbah organik seperti kotoran ternak dan sisa makanan difermentasi secara anaerob dalam reaktor CSTR (Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor) dengan sistem kontinyu untuk menghasilkan biogas sebagai energi alternatif pengganti LPG dan bahan bakar generator, serta pupuk organik. Pabrik dirancang berkapasitas 23.000ton/tahun dan beroperasi selama 330 hari dengan proses utama berupa hidrolisis, acetogenesis, acedogenesis, dan metanogenesis pada suhu 45°C dan tekanan 1 atm. Bentuk usaha adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem kerja shift dan nonshift. Hasil analisa ekonomi menunjukkan TCI sebesar Rp. 46 miliar, ROI 98.92%, DCFR 29,23%, BEP 51%, SDP 22%, dan DPBP 2 tahun. Berdasarkan evaluasi teknis dan ekonomi, proyek ini dinilai layak untuk direalisasikan.Evaluasi proyek menyimpulkan bahwa pabrik Biogas layak secara teknis.
