Abstract
Chassis merupakan komponen utama pada mobil listrik yang berfungsi menopang seluruh sistem kendaraan serta menerima pembebanan selama kendaraan beroperasi. Pada kendaraan kompetisi seperti KMLI, chassis dituntut memiliki massa ringan, kekakuan yang baik, dan mampu menahan pembebanan tanpa mengalami deformasi berlebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tegangan maksimum, deformasi total, dan factor of safety pada dua konsep desain chassis Enggang Evo 5, menentukan konsep terbaik menggunakan metode matriks penilaian konsep, serta menganalisis karakteristik torsional stiffness chassis menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Penelitian dilakukan dengan simulasi pembebanan vertikal, front bulkhead, side impact, front roll hoop, main roll hoop, dan torsional rigidity pada material ASTM A36, AISI 1035, dan AA 6061-T6 menggunakan CAE. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa Konsep B memiliki deformasi tertinggi lebih kecil sebesar 61,35% dibandingkan Konsep A, namun menghasilkan tegangan tertinggi lebih besar sebesar 186,19% sehingga factor of safety terendah menurun sebesar 51,64%. Berdasarkan penilaian konsep menggunakan metode Ulrich, material AISI 1035 pada Konsep B memperoleh nilai relatif tertinggi sebesar 54,74%. Nilai torsional stiffness konsep B sebesar 1774,92 Nm/degree juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan penelitian sebelumnya sebesar 1672 Nm/degree, sehingga chassis dinilai memiliki kekakuan yang baik untuk kendaraan KMLI.
