Abstract
Proses penyangraian biji kopi sangat mempengaruhi aroma dan rasa kopi, namun kendali suhu secara manual seringkali tidak konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem kendali PID yang dioptimasi menggunakan Fuzzy Logic dan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) untuk mengatur suhu pada alat penyangrai biji kopi elektrik. Pemodelan sistem dilakukan dengan metode NLARX berbasis data input-output dari alat nyata. Parameter PID awal (Gp, Gi, Gd) dioptimasi menggunakan PSO dengan fungsi objektif ITAE, kemudian dijadikan basis untuk Fuzzy Logic yang menyesuaikan nilai Kp, Ki, Kd secara adaptif. Pengujian dilakukan pada setpoint 210°C dan 260°C dengan variasi beban 100g, 200g, dan 300g. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode PSO Fuzzy PID (iterasi 50, swarm 30) menghasilkan nilai ITAE sebesar 166,423 dengan parameter Gp=8,7430, Gi=0,0054, Gd=7,5304. Pada implementasi nyata, metode PSO Fuzzy PID mampu menurunkan overshoot dari 17,08% menjadi 9,1% pada setpoint 210°C dan dari 9,6% menjadi 3,36% pada setpoint 260°C, serta mempercepat settling time dari 1237 detik menjadi 339 detik. Pada pengujian dengan beban hingga 300 gram, sistem masih mampu mempertahankan suhu dengan tingkat pemerataan roasting di atas 90%. Sehingga, metode PSO Fuzzy PID terbukti lebih unggul dibandingkan Fuzzy PID dalam hal kecepatan respon, kestabilan, dan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perubahan beban.
