Abstract
Motor Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) merupakan salah satu jenis motor yang banyak digunakan pada kendaraan listrik karena memiliki efisiensi tinggi dan karakteristik pengendalian yang baik. Namun, penggunaan energi baterai yang tidak terkendali dapat menyebabkan kapasitas baterai berkurang lebih cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis penerapan metode Hysteresis band Pulse Width Modulation (HBPWM) sebagai pengendali arus motor BLDC untuk melihat efisiensi penggunaan energi baterai kendaraan listrik. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan simulasi MATLAB/Simulink dengan membandingkan sistem open loop dan HBPWM pada sembilan skenario pengujian yang menggunakan variasi arus referensi 5 A, 6 A, dan 7 A serta hysteresis band ±0,25 A, ±0,50 A, dan ±1,00 A. Parameter yang dianalisis meliputi kecepatan motor, arus stator, riak arus, torsi elektromagnetik, daya sistem, efisiensi konversi daya sistem, dan State of Charge (SoC) baterai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode HBPWM mampu mengendalikan arus motor sesuai nilai referensi dan menghasilkan konsumsi energi baterai yang lebih rendah dibandingkan sistem open loop. Pada kondisi open loop diperoleh SoC sebesar 66,3% setelah 60 menit operasi, sedangkan pada sistem HBPWM SoC berada pada rentang 71,9% hingga 89,6%. Selain itu, peningkatan arus referensi menyebabkan kenaikan kecepatan dan torsi motor, sedangkan peningkatan hysteresis band cenderung meningkatkan riak arus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, metode HBPWM mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi baterai dan berpotensi diterapkan pada kendaraan listrik ringan yang mengutamakan daya tahan baterai dibandingkan performa kecepatan tinggi.
