Abstract

Emas (XAU/IDR) adalah sarana investasi yang diminati di Indonesia dengan sifat safehaven karena memiliki ketahanan terhadap inflasi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi keuangan. Sepanjang tahun 2015 hingga 2025, harga emas (XAU/IDR) menunjukkan pergerakan yang cenderung terus meningkat, dengan lonjakan signifikan terutama saat pandemi COVID-19 pada tahun 2020 dan ketidakpastian geopolitik akibat konflik Rusia-Ukraina sejak tahun 2022, sehingga pergerakannya sulit diprediksi menggunakan metode peramalan konvensional. Data harga emas yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data deret waktu yang memiliki karakteristik tidak stasioner, pola tren yang fluktuatif dan musiman yang bergerak secara kompleks, dimana metode peramalan lain memiliki kekurangan dalam mengelola data yang memiliki karakteristik tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Prophet untuk memodelkan dan meramal harga emas (XAU/IDR). Data yang digunakan adalah harga harian emas tahun 2015-2025 yang diperoleh investing.com. Proses penelitian yang dilakukan seperti pra-proses data, pemodelan Prophet, optimasi komponen yang digunakan. Metrik evaluasi yang digunakan adalah Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Hasil yang didapatkan setelah model dioptimasi dengan MAE sebesar Rp16.977, RMSE sebesar Rp17.485 dan MAPE sebesar 5,4411%. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan model Prophet memberikan hasil peramalan harga emas yang cukup baik.
