Abstract
Perkembangan aktivitas akademik di Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) meningkatkan mobilitas pejalan kaki antarbangunan. Namun, sebagian besar koridor kampus belum memiliki jalur pedestrian formal yang dilengkapi fasilitas pendukung memadai, sehingga pejalan kaki masih memanfaatkan bahu jalan dan jalur tidak resmi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pola rute, karakteristik pergerakan, dan tingkat bangkitan pejalan kaki, menyusun rekomendasi desain jalur pedestrian berbasis walkable campus, serta memvisualisasikan pergerakan pejalan kaki menggunakan PTV VISSIM. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif melalui observasi lapangan, Road Side Interview (RSI), survei volume pejalan kaki, dan simulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rute 1 merupakan koridor utama pergerakan pejalan kaki dengan tingkat penggunaan sebesar 54%, sedangkan volume puncak tertinggi tercatat pada Spot 2 sebesar 177 orang/jam. Berdasarkan analisis volume dan bangkitan pejalan kaki, diperoleh dua tipologi jalur pedestrian, yaitu Tipe A dengan lebar 2,50 m dan Tipe B dengan lebar 2,00 m. Rekomendasi desain dilengkapi fasilitas pendukung berupa jalur pemandu, vegetasi, pencahayaan, tempat duduk, dan tempat sampah sesuai prinsip walkable campus. Hasil simulasi PTV VISSIM menunjukkan bahwa jaringan pedestrian yang direncanakan mampu menghubungkan bangunan akademik, laboratorium, dan area parkir secara lebih terintegrasi sehingga meningkatkan konektivitas dan kenyamanan pergerakan pejalan kaki
