Abstract

Pasar tradisional memiliki intensitas aktivitas perdagangan, mobilitas kendaraan,bongkar muat barang, dan interaksi sosial yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan paparan kebisingan bagi pedagang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan tingkat kebisingan dan karakteristik individu terhadap stres kerja pada pedagang di area belakang Pasar Pandansari Balikpapan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analitik observasional dan desain potong lintang. Sampel berjumlah 56 pedagang yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengukuran kebisingan dilakukan menggunakan Sound Level Meter pada 28 titik, kemudian diolah menjadi peta sebaran kebisingan menggunakan Surfer. Stres kerja diukur menggunakan kuesioner DASS-21,sedangkan hubungan antarvariabel dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square melalui SPSS pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kebisingan berada pada rentang 61-90 dBA, dengan tujuh titik melebihi NAB 85 dBA. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara masa kerja dengan stres kerja(p=0,002) dan tingkat kebisingan dengan stres kerja (p=0,000), sedangkan umur,jenis kelamin, dan durasi kerja tidak berhubungan signifikan. Rekomendasi pengendalian meliputi pengaturan waktu istirahat, edukasi stres kerja, pengaturan lalu lintas dan tata letak pasar, penggunaan APD pendengaran, serta desain kotak peredam kebisingan pada mesin penggilingan daging.
