Abstract
Meningkatnya penggunaan baterai lithium-ion pada kendaraan listrik, sistem penyimpanan energi, dan perangkat elektronik portabel menuntut pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai degradasi baterai akibat kondisi Overcharge dan Overdischarge. Kedua kondisi tersebut dapat mempercepat penurunan kapasitas sehingga berdampak pada penurunan State of Health (SOH) dan umur pakai baterai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi Overcharge dan Overdischarge terhadap nilai SOH baterai lithium-ion berdasarkan variasi laju arus C/5, C/10, dan C/20, serta membandingkan tingkat degradasi yang terjadi pada masing-masing kondisi. Sistem pengujian dirancang menggunakan Arduino Uno yang dipadukan dengan sensor arus ACS712, sensor tegangan berbasis rangkaian pembagi tegangan, dan sensor suhu DS18B20 untuk memperoleh data arus, tegangan, suhu, dan waktu secara real-time. Kapasitas baterai dihitung menggunakan metode Coulomb counting, sedangkan nilai SOH ditentukan berdasarkan perbandingan kapasitas aktual terhadap kapasitas awal dan Capacity fade dihitung dari persentase penurunan kapasitas setelah seluruh siklus pengujian selesai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi Overcharge menghasilkan nilai Capacity fade sebesar 15,30%, 3,87%, dan 2,93% dengan nilai SOH masing-masing sebesar 84,70%, 96,13%, dan 97,07% pada variasi C/5, C/10, dan C/20. Sementara itu, kondisi Overdischarge menghasilkan Capacity fade sebesar 24,11%, 4,32%, dan 6,75% dengan nilai SOH masing-masing sebesar 74,89%, 95,68%, dan 93,25%. Pada variasi C/5, nilai SOH setelah Overdischarge telah berada di bawah batas end of life sebesar 80%, sedangkan seluruh variasi Overcharge masih berada di atas batas tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi Overdischarge menyebabkan degradasi baterai yang lebih besar dibandingkan Overcharge pada laju arus yang sama. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan strategi pengoperasian baterai yang lebih aman serta mendukung perancangan Battery Management System (BMS) untuk meningkatkan keandalan dan umur pakai baterai lithium-ion.
