Abstract
Abstract_ID: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) saat ini telah diwadahi melalui mata kuliah penciri Inovasi Sosial, yang merupakan bentuk konversi dari Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Namun, proses administrasi kegiatan ini masih menghadapi kendala signifikan akibat pengelolaan data yang terfragmentasi di berbagai platform manual dan kurangnya integrasi sistem secara digital. Hal tersebut pada akhirnya memicu inefisiensi waktu penyelesaian, meningkatkan risiko kesalahan data, dan menyebabkan tingginya kesulitan pemantauan status kegiatan bagi mahasiswa, dosen pembimbing, maupun tim pengelola di LPMPP. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun Sistem Informasi Inovasi Sosial berbasis web yang terpusat guna memfasilitasi seluruh siklus manajemen kegiatan secara menyeluruh, mulai dari tahap pendaftaran kelompok, validasi dokumen, proses bimbingan, hingga pelaporan akhir dan diseminasi. Pengembangan perangkat lunak ini menerapkan metode Waterfall yang dipilih karena karakteristiknya yang sistematis dan sangat berfokus pada kelengkapan dokumentasi teknis di setiap fasenya. Secara arsitektural, sistem ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP yang didukung oleh framework Laravel, serta menggunakan MySQL sebagai sistem manajemen basis datanya. Hasil pengujian sistem dieksekusi menggunakan metode Black-Box Testing terhadap 25 skenario fungsionalitas dengan melibatkan langsung pengguna terkait. Hasil akhir pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan fungsional mencapai 100%, yang secara tegas membuktikan bahwa sistem dapat beroperasi dengan sangat baik dan selaras dengan seluruh spesifikasi kebutuhan pengguna. Kesimpulannya, implementasi Sistem Informasi Inovasi Sosial ini terbukti mampu mendigitalisasi alur birokrasi manual menjadi sebuah ekosistem digital yang terpadu, sekaligus secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi data administrasi inovasi sosial di lingkungan ITK. Abstract_EN: Community service activities at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) are currently accommodated through the Social Innovation signature course, which serves as a direct conversion from the traditional Community Service Program (KKN). However, the administrative process for this activity still faces significant obstacles due to highly fragmented data management across various manual platforms and a critical lack of digital system integration. This situation ultimately leads to severe time inefficiency, a heightened risk of data errors, and significant monitoring difficulties for students, supervising lecturers, and the LPMPP management team. To address these challenges, this research aims to meticulously design and build a centralized, web-based Social Innovation Information System to facilitate the entire activity management cycle seamlessly, ranging from group registration, document validation, and supervision, to the final reporting and dissemination stages. The system's development strictly applies the Waterfall methodology, which was specifically selected for its highly systematic approach and its strong focus on comprehensive technical documentation at each development phase. Architecturally, the system is constructed utilizing the PHP programming language, supported by the robust Laravel framework, and relies on MySQL as its primary database management system. System testing was rigorously conducted using the Black-Box Testing method on 25 distinct system functionality scenarios involving the relevant end-users. The comprehensive testing results demonstrated a 100% functional validity rate, firmly proving that the software operates flawlessly and perfectly aligns with all specified user requirements. In conclusion, the implementation of this Social Innovation Information System has proven highly capable of successfully digitalizing fragmented manual bureaucratic workflows into a unified integrated digital ecosystem, thereby substantially increasing operational efficiency and guaranteeing the administrative data within the ITK environment.
