Abstract
Korosi pada pipa logam merupakan salah satu penyebab utama penurunan keandalan dan umur pakai infrastruktur, sehingga diperlukan metode deteksi yang cepat, akurat, dan non-destruktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sensor berbasis chipless Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) untuk mendeteksi korosi pada pipa logam dengan memanfaatkan perubahan karakteristik resonansi frekuensi. Sensor dirancang menggunakan perangkat lunak CST Studio Suite dengan dua variasi desain tag, yaitu Jerusalem Cross dan Split Ring. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan sistem chipless RFID pada rentang frekuensi 2–6 GHz dengan pengamatan terhadap grafik resonansi pada reader VNA (Vector Network Analyzer), amplitudo sinyal, dan pergeseran frekuensi resonansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain resonator mempengaruhi karakteristik resonansi. Sensor Jerusalem Cross menunjukkan kesesuaian antara hasil simulasi dan pengukuran pada frekuensi resonansi 3,27 GHz dan 3,024 GHz, sedangkan sensor Split Ring Resonator menghasilkan performa yang kurang baik akibat adanya noise pada pengukuran. Sistem chipless RFID berhasil membedakan kondisi korosi dan non-korosi berdasarkan pergeseran frekuensi resonansi sebesar 0,176 GHz, 0,072 GHz, 0,144 GHz, dan 0,192 GHz pada titik A, B, C, dan D. Hasil validasi sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh pergeseran frekuensi akibat korosi lebih besar dibandingkan standar deviasi alat, yaitu 176 MHz > 4,60 MHz, 65 MHz > 2,60 MHz, 140 MHz > 3,46 MHz, dan 186 MHz > 11,83 MHz, dengan rasio sekitar 16–40 kali lebih besar dari variasi pengukuran. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa perubahan frekuensi resonansi disebabkan oleh adanya korosi pada permukaan pipa logam, sehingga sensor chipless RFID berbasis Jerusalem Cross memiliki sensitivitas dan keandalan yang lebih baik dibandingkan desain Split Ring Resonator dalam pendeteksian korosi secara nirkabel.
