Abstract

Dinding penahan tanah pada sisi barat Gedung Perkuliahan E, F, dan G Institut Teknologi Kalimantan mengalami penghentian konstruksi dalam waktu yang lama sehingga menimbulkan berbagai kerusakan struktural, seperti retak, korosi tulangan, serta penurunan kinerja struktur yang berpotensi mengganggu stabilitas lereng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja dinding penahan tanah eksisting, menentukan kebutuhan perbaikan atau redesain, serta menganalisis peningkatan faktor keamanan lereng setelah dilakukan perbaikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis geoteknik berbasis Finite Element Method (FEM) dengan perangkat lunak PLAXIS. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap stabilitas lereng dan dinding penahan tanah berdasarkan aspek geser, guling, dan daya dukung tanah sesuai ketentuan SNI 8460:2017. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa beberapa segmen telah memenuhi faktor keamanan minimum sebesar 1,5, sedangkan segmen A, C, D, dan Q masih berada di bawah nilai yang dipersyaratkan sehingga memerlukan penanganan lebih lanjut. Upaya perbaikan dilakukan melalui redesain dinding penahan tanah menjadi dua tipe serta perbaikan geometri lereng menggunakan pekerjaan galian dan timbunan. Hasil redesain mampu meningkatkan faktor keamanan lereng sebesar 0,30–2,20 atau sekitar 10,34%–220% dibandingkan kondisi eksisting. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi redesain dinding penahan tanah dan perbaikan geometri lereng efektif dalam meningkatkan stabilitas lereng serta mengurangi potensi terjadinya longsor pada lokasi penelitian.
