Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi pencetakan 3D mendorong kebutuhan akan filamen yang memiliki performa baik dan ramah lingkungan. Polylactic Acid (PLA) merupakan material yang banyak digunakan, namun memiliki keterbatasan pada sifat mekanik, stabilitas termal, dan ketahanan terhadap sinar ultraviolet (UV). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi temperatur ekstrusi terhadap sifat termal, mekanik, morfologi, dan kemampuan penyerapan UV filamen biokomposit PLA-lignin dari daun nipah (Nypa fruticans). Lignin hasil ekstraksi organosolv ditambahkan ke dalam matriks PLA sebanyak 1% dan diproses menggunakan single-screw extruder pada temperatur 150°C, 160°C, dan 170°C dengan kecepatan sekrup 17 rpm. Karakterisasi dilakukan menggunakan FTIR, TGA, uji tarik, SEM, dan UV–Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan temperatur ekstrusi menghasilkan dispersi lignin yang lebih homogen, meningkatkan stabilitas termal, serta memperbaiki sifat mekanik filamen. Temperatur ekstrusi 170°C menghasilkan sifat mekanik dan morfologi terbaik, sedangkan dengan penambahan lignin mampu menurunkan transmitansi sinar UV dibandingkan PLA murni sehingga meningkatkan kemampuan filamen dalam menghambat radiasi UV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filamen biokomposit PLA-lignin berpotensi sebagai material ramah lingkungan untuk aplikasi pencetakan 3D.
