Abstract

Pra-rancangan pabrik refined lead dari bijih galena melalui proses pirometalurgi bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan refined lead dalam negeri dan kebutuhan ekspor negara-negara Asia Tenggara yaitu Singapura, Thailand dan Malaysia. Pabrik ini direncanakan beroperasi pada tahun 2031 di Kawasan Industri Kuala Tanjung, Kabupaten Batu Bara, Sumatera Utara dengan luas lahan 119.200 m² dan kapasitas produksi 125.000 ton/tahun. Umur pabrik dirancang selama 16 tahun dengan masa konstruksi selama 3 tahun. Proses produksi terdiri dari tahap persiapan bahan baku, peleburan menggunakan KIVCET furnace, tahap pemurnian lead bullion dan tahap produksi produk samping H2SO4. Untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional selama 330 hari/tahun, pabrik ini membutuhkan 170 tenaga kerja, pasokan listrik sebesar 5.015,816 kW, kebutuhan air sanitasi 144.358,34 kg/jam, air pendingin 1,272,689.12 kg/jam, dan air umpan boiler 189.050,369 kg/jam. Dengan kapasitas tersebut, modal tetap (FCI) dan modal kerja (WCI) yang dibutuhkan untuk pembangunan pabrik ini adalah sebesar Rp. 900.110.563.006,34 dan Rp. 158.843.040.530,53 dengan jumlah biaya investasi total (TCI) sebesar Rp. 1.058.953.603.536,87. Melalui analisis kelayakan ekonomi, diperoleh nilai Discounted Cash Flow Rate (DCFR) sebesar 51,79%, laju pengembalian modal (ROI) sebesar 94,9%, dan titik impas (BEP) sebesar 56,6%. Berdasarkan aspek-aspek yang telah disebutkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik refined lead ini layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.
