Abstract
digunakan, namun konsumsi berlebihan dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan sehingga diperlukan metode deteksi yang sensitif, cepat, dan sederhana. Sensor elektrokimia berbasis Screen Printed Carbon Electrode (SPCE) menjadi salah satu alternatif yang menjanjikan, namun performanya masih perlu ditingkatkan melalui modifikasi permukaan elektroda. Pada penelitian ini, SPCE dimodifikasi menggunakan functionalized Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (f-MWCNTs) dan nanopartikel kobalt oksida (Co₃O₄NPs) hasil green synthesis menggunakan ekstrak daun kemangi (Ocimum basilicum). Hasil karakterisasi menunjukkan bahwa Co₃O₄NPs berhasil terbentuk dengan ukuran partikel rata-rata sebesar 13 nm, sedangkan f-MWCNTs berhasil terfungsionalisasi yang ditandai dengan terbentuknya gugus fungsi yang mengandung oksigen pada permukaannya. Mekanisme reaksi acetaminophen (APAP) pada permukaan elektroda dipelajari menggunakan Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) dan Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV) melalui variasi laju pindai dan pH. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa elektroda Co₃O₄NPs/f-MWCNTs/SPCE menghasilkan respon arus puncak dan luas permukaan elektroaktif tertinggi dibandingkan elektroda lainnya. Analisis variasi laju pindai menunjukkan bahwa proses elektrokimia dikendalikan oleh mekanisme difusi dan melibatkan transfer dua elektron, sedangkan analisis variasi pH menunjukkan bahwa respon optimum diperoleh pada pH 7,4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi f-MWCNTs dan Co₃O₄NPs mampu meningkatkan performa elektrokimia SPCE untuk aplikasi sensor acetaminophen.
