Abstract

Kebutuhan dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) dalam negeri sepenuhnya bergantung pada impor terutama dari china yang menyebabkan tingginya biaya produksi dan risiko ketergantungan pasokan. DCPD digunakan sebagai campuran nutrisi pakan ternak yang berfungsi sebagai sumber mineral kalsium dan fosfor yang mudah diserap oleh tubuh dalam pembentukan tulang dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan. Adapun pendirian pabrik ini berada di wiliyah Gresik dan berdekatan dengan kawasan Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate (JIIPE), lokasi ini dipilih berdasarkan keunggulan skoring yang merupakan lokasi paling optimal. Kapasitas pabrik ini di tetapkan sebesar 50.000 ton/tahun untuk memenuhi kebutuhan domestik. Proses pembuatan DCPD yang dipilih yaitu menggunakan asam fosfat dan kalsium hidroksida yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu persiapan bahan baku, sintesis proses, dan pemurnian produk. Tahap persiapan bahan baku dilakukan pada tekanan 1 atm dan suhu 30oC dengan mengencerkan terlebih dahulu asam fosfat dan kalsium hidroksida pada mixer. Kemudian dilakukan tahap sintesis produk yaitu dengan mereaksi asan fosfat dan kalsium hidroksida yang sudah di encerkan ke dalam reaktor CSTR. Kemudian dilakukan tahap pemurnian produk untuk mendapatkan kemurnian DCPD sebesar 95%. Berdasarkan analisis ekonomi, laju pengembalian modal (ROI) sebesar 95,85% pada tingkat suku bunga bank sebesar 1.27%. sedangkan waktu untuk pengembalian modal (DPBP) adalah 1,35 tahun dan titik BEP impas sebesar 62%. Umur pabrik beroperasi selama 16 tahun sehingga diperlukan biaya total produksi (TPC) sebesar $50.179.648,83 dengan biaya investasi total (TCI) sebesar $18.104.347,05 Kata Kunci : Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate, Pakan Ternak, Asam fosfat, Netralisasi , CSTR
