Abstract

Pra Rancangan pabrik asam sulfamat dari bahan baku urea dan oleum dengan kapasitas produksi 19.000 ton/tahun akan di bangun di Kawasan Industri Kendal (KIK), Kabupaten Kendal, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Bahan baku urea dan oleum diperoleh dari PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur dan PT Indonesian Acids Industri Pabrik ini dirancang beroperasi secara kontinyu selama 24 jam per hari dan 330 hari per tahun. Proses produksi yang digunakan yaitu melalui Reaktor Multitube Falling Film dengan kondisi operasi suhu 80°C dan tekanan 1 atm serta di lengkapi dengan pendingin. Campuran yang keluar dari reaktor akan dialirkan menuju ke Crystallizer untuk mengubah kondisi slurry menjadi supersaturated, lalu dialirkan menuju ke centrifuge untuk memisahkan kristal asam sulfamat dengan sisa reaktan yang tidak terbentuk dan di lakukan proses pengeringan produk menggunakan udara panas di Rotary Dryer. Kebutuhan utilitas pada proses produksi asam sulfamat antara lain kebutuhan listrik sebesar 117 kWh/jam , kebutuhan steam sebesar 393,27 kg/jam , kebutuhan udara sebesar 347.925 kg/jam, dan kebutuhan air pendingin sebesar 164.686 kg/jam. Hasil analisis ekonomi pada pabrik ini didapatkan perhitungan dengan modal tetap sebesar $19,821,335.31 modal kerja sebesar $3,497,882.70 dan biaya produksi sebesar $47.115.875.289 Selain itu, dari analisis profitabilitas menunjukan nilai ROI sebesar 74,79%, SDP 20,45%, BEP 41,06%, NPV sebesar $244,819,199.03, DCFR 57,82%, dan DPBP 1,23 tahun.
